In this Sunday MUTTS strip, Earl and Mooch meet outside on a sidewalk. Mooch is walking with a small animal at the end of a leash. He says, “Hey, Earl, meet my pet snail ‘Little Earl.’ We’re going for his walk.” Earl leans over to look more closely at the snail, and Mooch yells to the snail: “Down boy! Down! HEEL! Heel! Sit Earl, sit!” He then explains, “He’s shtill a puppy.”
